Parents as Teachers

We are a National Parents As Teachers Affiliate

We are a National Parents As Teachers Affiliate (www.parentsasteachers.org).

Our P.A.T program provides services using the nationally recognized, evidence-based Parents as Teachers model that focuses on parents as their children’s first and most influential teachers. We recognize the early years of a child’s life as critical for optimal development and for providing the foundation for success in school and in life.

There are four dynamic components to the

Parents as Teachers model:

  • Personal Visits

  • Group Connections

  • Resource Network

  • Child Screening

Our Commitment

Our Certified Parent Educators are trained in child development and in parent advocacy. We will partner, facilitate and reflect with parents to strengthen their parenting skills.
